TO:                      Chair and Members

Long Term Plan/Annual Plan Subcommittee

FROM:                Judy Randall

DATE:                27 May 2020

SUBJECT:           Hearing of Submissions on the Draft Annual Plan

Purpose of Memorandum

To provide the Subcommittee with the schedule of speakers and submissions for the hearing of submissions on Friday 29 May.

Background

Hearing times have been scheduled for those submitters who have indicated they would like to present their submissions to the Subcommittee.  The schedule of speakers and their submissions are attached as Appendix 1 and Appendix 2 to the memorandum.

Given New Zealand is now in Alert Level 2, the Subcommittee is able to hear submissions in person. Physical distancing rules will be observed at the hearing and only one submitter will speak at a time. Two submitters have requested to present via Skype.

Due to the high volume of submitters, speaking times have been limited to five minutes, including time for questions. Community Boards and Iwi have been allowed extra time. Speakers have been asked to highlight the key points of their submissions.
