1. APOLOGIES
Resolved: (Cr Lulich/Mr Mueller-Welschof) Minute No. ART 19401 “That the apologies received from Mayor Wallace and Deputy Mayor Bassett be accepted and leave of absence be granted and the apology for lateness received from Mr Woods be accepted.” |

3. CONFLICT OF INTEREST DECLARATIONS
There were no conflict of interest declarations.
4. Minutes
Ms Mulligan advised her name had been recommended for the Light Box Selection Panel. She expressed concern the criteria for Light Box subject matter appeared to be people-based. She said there did not appear to be scope for celebrating important historical events. She agreed to investigate the basis for the criteria and the names of members on the original selection panel. She further agreed to send a copy of the guidelines to Cr Lewis. She advised she was keen to investigate other forms of signage, including solar powered Light Boxes or other forms of signage without lighting.
In response to a question from the Chair, Ms Mulligan advised the terms of reference for the Light Box Selection Panel were reviewed annually in July.

5. Information Item
Community Arts Advisor Update (19/1084) Memorandum dated 16 August 2019 by the Community Arts and Culture Adviser |
Mr Mueller-Welschof advised that the Learning Connexion had organised an Art Market during the recent Winter Festival 2019. He noted the Art Market had attracted the maximum number of 15 artists’ stands allowed and had enjoyed a successful three hours. In response to a question from a member, Mr Mueller-Welschof advised he had tried to attract artists from out of town but had not been successful. He added he had had a waiting list of artists requesting a stand, however due to space constraints they were unable to be accommodated. Ms Hindmarsh advised the Community

The Chair thanked all members for their contributions to the Subcommittee over the term of the triennium.
