1. APOLOGIES

Resolved:   (Cr Bridson/ Mayor Wallace)                        Minute No. CHC 17301

“That the apology for lateness received from Cr Barry be accepted.”

2.       PUBLIC COMMENT

There was no public comment.

3. CONFLICT OF INTEREST DECLARATIONS

          Crs Bridson, Lewis and Sutton declared a conflict of interest regarding one or two of the applicants.  Members considered that there was no conflict of interest.

4.       QUESTIONS 

          There were no questions.

Cr Barry joined the meeting at 9.05am

5.       EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC

“That the public be excluded from the following parts of the proceedings of this meeting, namely:

The general subject of each matter to be considered while the public is excluded, the reason for passing this resolution in relation to each matter, and the specific grounds under section 48(1) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 for the passing of this resolution are as follows:

2017 Civic Honours Awards .	The withholding of the information is necessary to protect the privacy of natural persons. (s7(2)(a)).	That the public conduct of the relevant part of the proceedings of the meeting would be likely to result in the disclosure of information for which good reason for withholding exist.

This resolution is made in reliance on section 48(1) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 and the particular interest or interests protected by section 6 or 7 of that Act which would be prejudiced by the holding of the whole or the relevant part of the proceedings of the meeting in public are as specified in Column (B) above.”

There being no further business the Chair declared the meeting closed at 9.05am and the non public portion of the meeting finished at 10.20am.
